AscendPsychology CogniPsyTech Pvt. Ltd. (“AscendPsychology,” , “us,” "we," “our'', Pebbles app) understands the importance of maintaining the privacy of the user’s (“your”, “you”, “subscriber’’) information. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy in connection to the use of our Services (including Website(s), Applications (''Apps”), Services and other Products or Features, collectively referred to herein as “Service” or “Services''.

When you use our Apps or Services, we appreciate that you are trusting us with your information. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal data and how we will collect, use and disclose your personal data. 

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through any of our Services, including the use of our App, Pebbles app.

By using Pebbles app and our Services, you consent to our collection, use, disclosure, and storage of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Collection of your Information

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained by us and used as described in this privacy policy.

Registration Information

When you register for an account with the Pebbles app, we collect all the personal information that you voluntarily submit to us, except for your password. The personal information that we collect includes your email address, date of birth, gender, nickname, and country. 

If you choose to register or log in to our services using a social media account, or a federated identity provider (e.g., Apple or Google) we may have access to certain information about you.

We may use and store the information that we gain access to in aggregated and anonymized form so that it is not associated with individual end users We will not use identifiable personal information without your consent.

 

Log and Usage Data 

Log and usage data is service-related, diagnostic usage and performance information that our servers automatically collect when you access or use our App and which we record in log files. Depending on how you interact with us, this log data may include your IP address, device information, browser type and settings and information about your activity in the App (such as the date/time stamps associated with your usage, pages viewed, searches and other actions such as which features you use), device event information, (such as system activity and error reports (sometimes called 'crash dumps').

Mobile Device Data

Device information such as your operating system, device name, and your device's Universally Unique Identifier (UUID).

Push Notifications

We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the App. If you wish to opt out from receiving these types of communications, you can turn them off in your device's settings as well as in the app settings.

Third-Party Service Providers

The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, and here you can find a link to the privacy policies of such third party service providers used by the app:

Use of Your Information

Having accurate information about you allows us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the App to:

  • Generate a personal profile about you.

  • Personalize your experience in our App and Services.

  • Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience with the App.

  • Notify you of updates to the App or Site.

  • Request feedback and contact you about your use of the App.

  • To improve our website and product based on your feedback.

  • To periodically send you promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think may be of interest to you.

  • To protect our Services: We may use your information as part of our efforts to keep our App safe and secure (for example, for fraud monitoring and prevention). 

  • To protect our rights, the rights of affiliates or related third parties, or to take appropriate legal action, such as to enforce our Terms of Use.

  • To respond to legal requests and prevent harm: If we receive a subpoena or other legal request, we may need to inspect the data we hold to determine how to best respond.

  • As otherwise necessary or useful for us to conduct our business, so long as such use is permitted by law or for any other purpose with your consent. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

Where Is Your Data Stored and Is Your Information Transferred Internationally?

All the data you provide to us through the Service is stored and processed on AWS servers located around the world. Any information you provide will be processed by a computer server located within India.

Security

We value your trust in providing us your personal information, thus we strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. Bear in mind, however, that no method of transmission over the Internet, or means of electronic storage is 100% foolproof, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We are not liable for the illegal acts of third parties such as criminal hackers.

 

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. We request you not to share your password with anyone, and suggest that you change your password frequently. It is your responsibility to safeguard the devices you use to access our Online Services (such as laptops, tablets and mobile devices), and to use appropriate security settings on those devices.

Do We Collect Information from Minors?

We do not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under 17 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 17 years of age or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s usage of the App. If we learn that personal information from users less than 17 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. Account Deletion

Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may, on occasion, update our Privacy Policy. We recommend that you periodically review this page for any changes. Under certain circumstances we may also elect to notify you of changes or updates to the policy by additional means, such as pop-up or push notifications within the product and/or via email. Any changes mentioned are effective immediately after they are posted.
